THE VIZIONZ PROJECT exists to empower the visually impaired to fulfill their dreams within the performing arts arena, creating equal opportunities to experience the arts through song, dance, and drama, and cultivating awareness through advocacy, teaching, coaching, and needs-based programs for young artists.

Because WE BELIEVE IN A WORLD WHERE DREAMS DON’T HAVE LIMITATIONS, we have the vision to see goals fulfilled and talents showcased among the visually impaired community as we support the unique needs of visually impaired performance artists.

Our Story

The Vizionz Project, Inc. has been established to promote the opportunity for the visually impaired to experience the arts through song, dance, and drama by showcasing their gifts and talents to the masses. Many gifted students who are visually impaired are not given the same opportunities as their sighted counterparts; therefore, resulting in unfulfilled dreams within the visually impaired community. The purpose of this organization is to create an environment for our students to experience a performing arts education without limitations or boundaries due to the lack of sight. With our programs, the visually impaired will now have the opportunity to fulfill their dreams within the performing arts arena without discrimination in the future.

Our goal at The Vizionz Project is to bring awareness to the performing arts and entertainment industries on how visually impaired gifted individuals are often times overlooked. We will do this by way of advocacy, teaching and coaching; providing an all-encompassed program that supports the needs of each artist. We will service both youth-aged students and adults alike within our programs, as each demographic is in need of representation.

The Vizionz Workshops

Our programs will incorporate inclusive workshops featuring courses for musicians, singers, and drama majors. Each of our instructors and aides are specially trained to work with students who are visually impaired. The workshops will each teach different techniques and specializations within each art form while helping students build the confidence they need to perform in front of both smaller and larger audiences.

Long-Term Objectives

As an organization, our goal is to partner up with neighboring performing arts programs and train their staff members to work with the visually impaired students. In partnering up with performing arts schools and programs, The Vizionz Project endeavors to create a culture for students, both visually impaired and sighted, to learn within the same setting. Therefore, serving the community of visually impaired Individuals across the globe.
